- Evolving Systems Secures First Order For Tertio™ Content Connector
ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO - Evolving Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ-EVOL), a leading provider of software solutions and services to the wireless, wireline and IP carrier markets, today announced that a leading mobile carrier in Europe has selected the Company's Tertio™ Content Connector solution.
The customer selected Evolving Systems' product as an enhancement to its existing Tertio Service Activation solution, and will be deploying the solution to support its continuing rollout of new data and content services.
Tertio Content Connector, launched in July 2005, increases operators' ability to introduce, manage and withdraw content services. It supports service registration and subscription from web portals and content platforms, and the auto-activation of next-generation customer equipment.
Tertio Content Connector enables a zero-development approach to integrating next-generation content and service delivery platforms in an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and Service Delivery Platform (SDP) environment. It allows the discovery, incorporation and configuration of new system interfaces with no software coding.
Sanjay Mewada, vice president at Yankee Group, commented, "The wireless industry is clearly moving towards IMS-based features and we will continue to see this trend through 2006."
Stephen Gartside, president and CEO of Evolving Systems, said, "The product launch generated a very positive response from our customer base and prospective customers. Tertio Content Connector provides a unique answer to the challenges of activating next-generation services, and helps operators integrate content and service delivery platforms on which new IP-based services can be launched. We believe our early success with this innovative product demonstrates our continued strength in the activation market."
