Tertio Content Connector helps wireless, wireline and IP operators innovate quickly, integrate easily

ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO - Evolving Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ-EVOL), a leading provider of software solutions and services to the wireless, wireline and IP carrier markets, today announced a new addition to its Tertio™ activation solution. The new module, called Tertio Content Connector, provides a unique answer to the challenges of activating next-generation services, and helps operators integrate content and service delivery platforms on which innovative IP-based services can be launched.

Service activation systems have typically been built for a limited number of services over specific network technology. In order to keep pace with new service requirements, a lengthy process of coding of software adapters for new network elements is often necessary. However, next-generation services bring new challenges. New, open service delivery platforms encourage 3rd party content and application development and use new, IT-based platforms with new interoperability standards. All of this requires support for a more dynamic environment in which services and systems may be introduced, updated or withdrawn more frequently than ever before.

Based on industry-standard integration technology, Tertio Content Connector enables a zero-development approach to integrating next-generation content and service delivery platforms in an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and Service Delivery Platform (SDP) environment. It allows the discovery, incorporation and configuration of new system interfaces with no software coding.

Integrated with the rest of the Tertio solution, Tertio Content Connector increases operators' agility to introduce, manage and withdraw content services. It supports service registration and subscription from web portals and content platforms, and the auto-activation of next-generation customer equipment.
